Introduction

Orbrik works by taking in the everyday signals of running a business — messages, voice notes, decisions — and turning them into something organised. This page explains how that information moves through Orbrik, from the moment you provide it to the moment it is removed.

It is written to be understood, not to reassure with jargon. The aim is simple: when you finish reading, you should know what happens to your business information.

Information You Provide

Most of what Orbrik holds is information you choose to give it while capturing your work.

  • Account details, such as your name and email address.
  • The work you capture — text messages, voice notes, and the context around them.
  • Anything you add directly, such as tasks, decisions, notes and follow-ups.

Information Created While Using Orbrik

As you use Orbrik, some information is created on your behalf so the service can do its job.

  • Structured items drawn from what you capture, such as tasks, decisions and follow-ups.
  • Summaries you ask for, such as your morning brief.
  • Basic technical information needed to run the service and keep it secure.

How Information Is Used

Information in Orbrik is used to provide the service to you — to capture your work, organise it, and surface what needs your attention.

  • To turn what you capture into tasks, decisions and follow-ups.
  • To prepare the summaries and reminders you rely on.
  • To keep your account and workspace secure.

This information exists only to run Orbrik for you, and it is never sold.

AI Processing

Some of what Orbrik does relies on automated processing. When you capture a voice note, it is transcribed into text; when you capture work, the content is analysed to draw out tasks, decisions and follow-ups.

This processing exists to save you the manual step of sorting through everything yourself. It works on the information you capture, and only to provide the service to you.

Storage

The information you capture is stored so that Orbrik can hold your work over time and make it available when you return. Files such as voice notes are kept in dedicated storage suited to that purpose.

We rely on service providers to help us store and run Orbrik, under agreements that limit how they may handle your information.

Retention

Information is kept for as long as your account is active, or as long as it is needed to provide the service to you. When information is no longer needed, the aim is to remove it.

Deletion Requests

You can ask us to delete your information. When you do, we work to remove it, subject to anything we are required to keep for legal or operational reasons.

If you would like to make a request, you can reach us through our contact page.

Exports

Your work is yours. If you need a copy of the information you have put into Orbrik, contact us and we will help where we can.

Security Principles

We take a considered approach to protecting the information in Orbrik. A few principles guide that work.

  • Limit access to information to what is needed to run the service.
  • Handle information through providers held to agreements about how they may use it.
  • Treat security as an ongoing part of building Orbrik, not a one-time task.

No online service can promise perfect security, so we focus on sensible, layered protections rather than absolute claims.
